Beer and wine celebrate in Wittenberge - the new mile kicks!

On Saturday, June 28th, Wittenberger Bahnstraße will again become the setting for a culinary and musical delight. The popular wine and beer mile spoils the visitors with a new concept that not only ensures better orientation, but also offers an individual character. From 7 p.m. there is celebration, feasted and danced when the atmosphere in Wittenberge wakes up to life. The event will be organized in cooperation with the Landesgartenschau 2027, the Youth Forum Prignitz and the support association of the volunteer fire brigade, such as nordkurier.de reported.

This year five themed stages are available that offer a varied music program. Among the artists are "Luna Soul" from Schwerin on the Laga stage, the local band "The DiE" on the Kulturhaus stage, as well as "two like pitch and sulfur" on the blue light stage. The Grabower Matze Fischer will also appear on the Jufo stage, while the guitar duo "Hanshagen" from Schwerin will enliven the Mediterranean stage. So music lovers can make a lot of preparation!

Culinary diversity and competition

A real treat is the culinary offer that is made up of almost 20 stands. Breweries such as asses from Pritzwalk and the Braumanufaktur Ludwigslust will present their best varieties, while the tiny mill "Zuckschwerdt - Three Layer Wine" from Würzburg ensures exquisite wines. Foodies also get their money's worth with a food truck from Eventkoch (MV) and the "Zum Rasenden Gyros" stand.

But the event offers more than just delicacies: a kicker tournament, organized by the FSV Veritas Wittenberge/Breese, will create sporting atmosphere. Everyone can participate here, whereby a pre-registration is necessary-simply send an email to kontakt@feste-und-maerkte.de.

Admission to the wine and beer mile is free, and if you come by car, you will find numerous parking spaces. Free places are available behind the cultural and festival house as well as at the train station. For the access to the railway road, the road is closed from the star. Visitors should use access via Wilhelmstrasse.

In addition to the wine and beer mile, another highlight takes place that day: The 111th anniversary of the town hall is celebrated with guided tours and an interesting program from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. One more perfect reason to visit the city center of Wittenberg and end the day in a convivial atmosphere.
