Rauhnacht tour in Storkow: Experience mystical rituals and traditions!

In a few weeks it will be mystical in Storkow! The Storkow companions invite you to the event on December 20, 2025 at 7:00 p.mRauhnacht tour with the companions of the nighta. The event takes place at the impressive Storkow Castle, Schloßstr. 6, 15859 Storkow (Mark) and promises to introduce the participants to the fascinating customs of the Rauhnächte. From autumn onwards, tickets will be available at the guest information - this is where you can enjoy a convivial evening full of traditions and exciting stories. The Rauhnächte extends until January 6th and is considered a time of retreat and new beginnings in which numerous customs can be inspired. This includes “putting a light in the window” to offer protection from ghosts and bring light into the darkness, as well as consciously refraining from unpleasant work in order to strengthen interpersonal relationships. The custom of the “13 Wishes Ritual” also has its place: Here, 13 wishes are written on pieces of paper, which are drawn and burned during the rough nights.

Traditions and rituals of the rough nights

The rough nights not only have a deeper meaning in spirituality, but also a close connection to nature. Each day of these nights is assigned to a month of the coming year, which offers a special way to document the weather and personal experiences and draw conclusions.
