Wildau starts through: New start-up center revolutionizes Brandenburg!

In Wildau, the first start-up center, reactor. Wildau, was officially opened on June 23, 2025. This center includes a total of six new start-up facilities that are being built in Brandenburg. At a time when innovative ideas are more than ever asked, this project should not only strengthen the start -up scene, but also make a significant contribution to the economic renewal of the region. One of the main financiers is the state of Brandenburg, which provides over 17 million euros from the European Fund for Regional Development (ERDR) and state funds by 2028 to increase the visibility and influence of start-ups.

At the opening event, the start-ups of the first cohort had the opportunity to present their business models. The first development program begins on July 1, 2025, and the participants will be looked after intensively for nine months. Experienced coaches are available to bring expertise in areas such as financing, patent issues and international networking. High-quality technical infrastructure, modern office space as well as laboratory and workshop areas are also provided to offer the founders optimal conditions for their developments.

a network of start-up centers

The opening in Wildau is only the beginning. In addition to reactor. Wildau, another five start-up centers in Brandenburg in cities such as Potsdam, Bad Belzig, Cottbus, Beeskow and Strausberg are to be opened by the end of the year. Each of these centers has special priorities and is operated by various providers. The start-up center Gutshof Glien in Bad Belzig focuses on traffic and logistics solutions, while the Incubator Village operates in Beeskow open to the industry. Other programs include the healthcare industry in Cottbus and digital media as well as artificial intelligence in Potsdam.

These initiatives are part of the "founding offensive Brandenburg", which pursues the goal of promoting young companies and conveying entrepreneurial know-how. Through intensive care and networking options, risks for founding teams are to be minimized in the growth phase. The Ministry of Economics, Labor and Energy supports these efforts in order to enable particularly important start-ups in the field of digitization, energy and circular economy to develop new business models, according to the information from efre.brandenburg.de.

Brandenburg's innovation -friendly future

While Brandenburg faces challenges such as digitization and demographic change, these new start-up centers offer an excellent way to increase the country's innovative strength. They not only help to increase the number of newly founded companies, but also to improve their quality and their chances of success. Particular attention is paid to the support of corporate successes and the technology transfer from existing research institutions.

With such an infrastructure and the funds provided, Brandenburg could soon look at a blooming start-up landscape that creates attractive jobs and further promotes economic dynamics in the region. The design of the regional economy will hope for promising business models and a strong start-up ecosystem in the future, such as Spreebote.de.
