Fascinating concert with SaitenWind Trio: Experience chamber music in a new way!
On September 27, 2025, a very special chamber music concert will take place in the Great Hall of the University of Applied Sciences for Finance in Königs Wusterhausen. The String Wind Trio, consisting of the talented flutist Silke Friedrich, the versatile clarinetist Fedor Erfurt and the sensitive guitarist Pablo Villafuerte, invites music lovers to embark on a journey from Bach to Tango.
What can the listeners expect? An exciting program that begins with a selection from Johann Sebastian Bach's “Sonata in E major BWV 1035” and extends through impressive works by Peter I. Tchaikovsky and Edvard Grieg to the rousing “Cuatro Estaciones Porteñas” by Astor Piazzolla. Particularly noteworthy are the “Trout Variations” by Sefton Cottom, humorous variations of Schubert’s famous “Trout” that are sure to put a smile on the listener’s face.
Concert information and preliminary program
The event will start at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Before the concert, visitors can take part in a castle tour, which starts at 5:00 p.m. and can be purchased together with the concert tickets. A small note for everyone who comes with a wheelchair: Access to the Hall of the Cavalier Houses is unfortunately not possible; access to the Kreuzkirche is only intended for walkers.
Tickets will go on sale on April 12, 2025 and will be available online Berlin.de and available at ticket offices. There are discounts for children up to 12 years of age, while bringing dogs is not permitted for event participation reasons.
An ensemble with experience
The SaitenWind Trio has already made a name for itself in the chamber music scene after being founded at the Bremen University of the Arts. Now based in Hamburg, the trio has performed at renowned venues such as the Elbphilharmonie and the Laeiszhalle Hamburg. With their wide repertoire, which ranges from classical compositions to contemporary pieces, they have thrilled audiences on several occasions and thus show that they have a good knack for musical diversity.
