Rafting Festival Finowfurt 2025: Experience music, fireworks and tradition up close!

The Finowfurt rafting festival, a tradition that is firmly rooted in the region, is in the starting blocks! From July 4th to 6th, 2025, the Finowfurt district in the municipality of Schorfheide will be celebrating this popular festival for the 28th time. According to Antenne Brandenburg, this event will once again attract thousands of visitors this year and position itself as one of the major events in the Barnim district.

The opening will take place on Friday evening at Erzbergerplatz, where the dance event with the DJs Monoact and Tony will ensure the best atmosphere. This kick-off signals the starting signal for a varied program that will extend over the entire weekend. Municipality of Schorfheide also highlights the musical diversity, which ranges from hits to rock to pop and line dance and is presented to the audience on the stage at Erzbergerplatz.

Diverse program items for young and old

Not only will local actors such as the “Spatzennest” daycare center and the United Dance Family perform on Saturday and Sunday, but there will also be a wide children’s program to ensure that there is something for everyone. Antenne presenter Tina Knop will be responsible for moderating the stage program on Saturday and Sunday, which will certainly contribute to the good mood.

Another highlight will be the Antenne Party Tour on Saturday evening, where timeless hits from the 70s and 80s will be played. Culinary offerings and fair stalls on Finowfurt's main street invite you to linger and feast. Traditional craftsmanship is also taken into account, with the Finowfurt rafting association setting a special accent with raft trips.

Transportation and entry

There is some important information for everyone who arrives at the festival: Advance ticket sales for the dance and disco evenings on Friday and Saturday evenings run from June 3rd to July 1st, 2025 at the municipal administration on Erzbergerplatz, with tickets costing ten euros each. To ensure a smooth arrival process, you are asked to use public transport as parking spaces are limited. The Barnim bus company will use additional buses between Eberswalde and Finowfurt so that guests can arrive and depart comfortably.

The big finale will take place on Sunday evening at the Finow Canal. Here visitors can look forward to the traditional duck race, the arrival of the raftsmen as well as a breathtaking laser show and a magnificent fireworks display. An eventful weekend lies ahead of us, which will immerse visitors in the rich tradition of rafting and at the same time promise an unforgettable summer evening.
