The Summer festival at the Friedrich Wolf Theater (Friwo) is a must for culture lovers. The musical performances start at 5 p.m. when DJ Pelao encourages visitors to salsa dance. On the Axel stage, various bands and theater groups, including “SGB9” and “Emotional Outburst”, ensure a varied program until 4 p.m. And best of all: entry is free!
Sporting events and local festivals
Sports enthusiasts should check this out 44th International Oder Tour not to be missed, which also starts on July 12th from 10 a.m. in Eisenhüttenstadt. The third stage will be held here as a road race for the “Grand Prix of the City of Eisenhüttenstadt”. The route is a 5.7 km circular route that can be visited from the town hall. In Bremsdorf, the village festival starts at 10 a.m. with a volleyball tournament, and there will also be live music here from 3 p.m.
In the evening, the events in Müllrose, such as the “Summertime Blues” concert with the band “Pass Over Blues” and Kat Baloun, are a real eye-catcher from 8 p.m. Tickets cost 25 euros in advance.
