15-year-old harassed at bus stop – perpetrator arrested with 3.02 per mille!

In Lebus, more precisely at a bus stop near the B112, an unfortunate incident occurred that shocked the local community. A 15-year-old teenager was molested by a 42-year-old man. According to a report by moz.de This happened on October 27, 2025. The man repeatedly ignored the girl's requests to stop his inappropriate behavior and even invaded her personal space.

The situation got worse, but fortunately the teenager was able to free herself and immediately informed the police. This didn't take long to arrive and was there quickly. Thanks to the officers' quick action, the suspect was arrested on site. When arrested, it was discovered that the man had a breath alcohol level of 3.02 per mille, which only underlines his dangerousness. A blood test was ordered and an investigation into sexual harassment was initiated.

The tension of local security

This incident shows once again how important a safe environment is for young people. The fact that such an event occurred in a supposedly protected environment such as a bus stop raises questions. How can we better ensure the safety of young people? Initial approaches could, for example, be a stronger police presence in sensitive areas or more education in schools.

Fortunately, there is also positive news from the region. In recent years there has been a steadily growing awareness of security issues among the public. But the challenges remain and require continued attention and action.

Shared responsibility for security

It is important for the Lebus community to stick together. Parents, schools and the police should work hand in hand to create an environment in which children and young people can move around safely. Education and open dialogue are essential to take preventive action and reduce the risk of attacks. Particularly in times when alcohol and other drugs play a role, greater emphasis should be placed on education and preventative measures for young people.

How the case develops remains to be seen. The investigation has only just begun and the authorities will hopefully come to a clear conclusion quickly. It remains to be hoped that the young person affected and their family will receive the support they need to come to terms with this painful incident. Only together can society ensure that such unfortunate events do not happen again. It is up to us to be vigilant and actively contribute to the safety of our young people.
