Gerald Schülke: Kyritz’s coolest driving instructor” inspires the region!

A very special event is taking place in the Ostprignitz-Ruppin region: Gerald Schülke, the driving school director of the traditional Kübeck driving school in Kyritz, has been nominated for the title of “coolest driving instructor”. This gives us reason to take a look behind the scenes of this family business, which has enjoyed a lot of reputation since it was founded in 1991 by Ernst Kübeck. Schülke, who joined the driving school in 1998 and has been running it since 2007, has made a name for himself as a committed and competent driving instructor.

The Kübeck driving school, which is based in Kyritz, not only trains young drivers, but also has a good reputation in the professional driver segment. The demand for driving schools has increased in recent years, and Schülke attaches great importance to proactive driving, which is reflected in both training and company management. His father-in-law Ernst and his mother-in-law Anita Kübeck, who does the office work, made a significant contribution to establishing the company.

Support from the team

The team at the Kübeck driving school consists of motivated and qualified driving instructors who not only help students to recognize their weaknesses, but also to work out their strengths. A new addition to the team is Florian Granzow, who will be one of the youngest driving instructors in North Brandenburg in 2024 at just 22 years old. Schülke actively recruited and trained all 15 driving instructors who have previously worked at the driving school - a valuable achievement that underpins the strong foundation of the driving school.

A planned generational change

Particular attention is also paid to Patrick Mäusling, who will take over the driving school in two to three years. Schülke has been preparing him as his successor for some time. Mäusling has training as a vehicle mechatronics engineer as well as experience from his time in the Bundeswehr - qualities that will prove valuable in the training of future driving students.

The Kübeck driving school not only offers in-depth practical training, but also modern PC workstations where theoretical knowledge can be learned and consolidated. Theoretical lessons usually take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but individual arrangements can also be made if necessary. Registrations can be made directly in the office here.

Vote for the coolest driving instructor

Gerald Schülke has not only shown a lot of commitment in the training, but has also come into the public eye through the upcoming vote to elect the “coolest driving instructor in Ostprignitz-Ruppin”. You have until June 30th to vote for him and give him the recognition he deserves.

The Kübeck driving school is not only perceived as an established institution in the region, but also as a place where tradition and innovation go hand in hand. Schülke's visionary approaches to ensuring high-quality training are an important reason why the driving school continues to be successful after so many years. Further information is available on the Kübeck driving school website and confirms the positive response that the institution enjoys.

For anyone interested in driving and the responsibility that comes with it, the Kübeck driving school is definitely one of the first points of contact in Kyritz and beyond. Schülke's committed leadership style and the comprehensive training offerings make the driving school a real model company in the region.
