Shock in Potsdam: The sad death of a young student remains a mystery

In today's episode of *Soko Potsdam* it gets emotional and dramatic because the investigators are faced with a mysterious death. Young Alexis was found dead - a gunshot wound to the left temple raises the question: Did he take his own life or was he murdered? [ZDF] reports that the commissioners are doing everything they can to shed light on the matter.

The situation escalates when Tamara and Samir visit the tavern of Alexis' father, Carlo Papadakis. Carlo, visibly shaken, recently had a heated argument with his son during a car meeting and could therefore become the focus of the investigation. According to the reports, he was drunk and had an argument with Alexis, raising the possibility of a violent escalation. The investigators also came across the trail of Alexis' ex-girlfriend Maria Weber, who may have had a motive out of jealousy since Alexis broke up with her and sought a new lifestyle. It is still unclear who has the final say here.

The role of the student association

The investigation also focuses on Nino Liebenthron, the spokesman for a Potsdam student association where Alexis had an admission interview shortly before his death. The inspectors ask about possible admission rituals that could lead to a fatal shot in the head. However, Liebenthron denies such rituals and directs attention to Alexis' father, which further inflames tensions within the connection.

The actors bring the events vividly to the screen. Anja Pahl, Agnes Decker, Skandar Amini and numerous other talents bring their roles to life. The director is Susan Gordanshekan, supported by the author Katharina Sophie-Brauer, and the cameraman Timm Lange, who skillfully captures the dark mood.

Family celebration in the region

While investigators in Potsdam are struggling for answers, there is also positive news from the region. A large family banquet will be held at Gaelic Park in Oak Forest on May 16th. The event, organized by SSSRA, offers a wonderful opportunity for all ages to eat, dance and socialize together. A small contribution of just $20 for attendees and $30 for no-shows is all that is needed to take part in this social evening. Anyone who would like to register themselves and their family should not forget to sign the declaration of participation and register online in good time. The number of participants is limited, so you better be quick! [SSSRA]

New trend: home office in Spain

At the same time, new developments are emerging in the world of work. Teletrabajo, i.e. working from home, is also becoming increasingly important in Spain. According to a report by the Servicio Público de Empleo Estatal (SEPE), 15.4% of the working population in Spain already have the opportunity to work from home. This form of work comes with many benefits, such as more flexible working conditions and access to a broader talent pool. Given the changed world of work following the COVID-19 pandemic, more and more companies are relying on hybrid models to employ employees both on-site and remotely. In addition to the benefits for employees, this development also offers companies an opportunity to innovate the way they work [La Razon].
