On November 7th, 2025, Potsdam will once again be all about bargain hunting. Like the city reported, the 52nd online auction of lost property takes place. A veritable treasure trove of lost treasures is just waiting to be snapped up by clever buyers.
The auction begins on November 13, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. and runs for ten days. A total of 91 positions including bikes, bags, shoes and tools are offered. Auction process and conditions
The online auction starts with a set maximum price, which is reduced at regular intervals to the minimum bid. There are two options to choose from: Interested parties can either buy the items immediately at the current price or try bidding. However, it should be noted that the lost property has not been tested for functionality or damage, so no guarantee or warranty is offered. An exchange or return of the auctioned items is also excluded.
After the auction, the lucky ones can pick up their item at the lost property office of the city of Potsdam, which is located at Yorckstrasse 24. Payments are only possible here by card; there is no provision for shipping of the items. The lost and found office's opening hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
