Court festival and country outing: Experience the best of Brandenburg on the 14th/15th. June!
Next weekend it's time to open the door again for all agriculture and nature lovers! The 30th Brandenburg Country Party will take place on June 14th and 15th, 2025, where numerous farms will open their gates and offer a colorful program. The event is a wonderful opportunity to get to know Brandenburg's diverse agriculture and have a lot of fun at the same time.
The focus is particularly on the farm festival at Bauer Peters in Werneuchen, which is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. as part of these celebrations. Visitors can look forward to a wide range of offerings here. From hearty bratwurst creations, coffee and home-baked cake to stable tours and a quiz game with a farmer's rally - there is something for every taste. A highlight of the festival is the viewing of the breeding bulls of the Simmenthaler Fleckvieh and the opportunity to experience the Christmas gossels up close. There is also the opportunity to take part in horse-drawn carriage rides and purchase farm products in the newly built farm shop. Admission is free, which makes the event particularly attractive, as barnim-aktuell.de reports.
Thomashof and Gut Schmerwitz invite you
The Thomashof in Klein Mutz is also part of the Brandenburger Landpartie and can look forward to its third participation this year. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., guests have the opportunity not only to visit the barrier-free “Sattelkammer” holiday apartment, but also to enjoy a variety of delicacies. Homemade organic cakes are available in the farm café, while the ultra-regional beef bratwurst from Bergsdorfer Wiesenrind awaits hungry visitors at the bratwurst stand. The “Mutzer Gold” apple wine, which is produced in-house, provides special culinary delights. The farm also shows its commitment to sustainability, for example with a permaculture garden and an orchard. A farm tour at 2:30 p.m. and the market square with regional crafts round off the program. Those interested can find out more about this on the Thomashof website, as thomashof-kleinmutz.de reports.
Another highlight of the Brandenburg country party will be the central opening event at Gut Schmerwitz, which begins on June 14th at 11:00 a.m. Old and new agricultural technology, milking robots, sausage production and many other exciting topics relating to agriculture are presented here. The event attracts thousands of visitors every year - last year there were around 75,000 - and is a sign of the interest in regional economic cycles and agriculture in Brandenburg. Supported by various institutions, including pro agro and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, this year also promises to be a success, as brandenburger-landpartie.de reports.
Be there when the weekend calls for a country trip in Brandenburg! An exciting experience for the whole family, where country life in all its facets can be experienced in a fantastic way.
