Stage free for the little artists: witch adventure on June 19!

The anticipation increases in the region, because on Thursday, June 19, the Schwärztal house will be the scene of a magical performance. The children of the music classes of the Johann-Wolfgang von Goetheschule and the Nordend School stand in the starting blocks for their first joint appearance. The children's book “The curious little witch” children's book is shown, which should captivate both small and large spectators. The participants are made up of the elementary classes 2m and 3m as well as the string class 5m of the Goethe School and the cello class of the Nordend School. They are actively supported by the teachers of the Barnim music school. The aim is to invite the audience on a magical trip where you can fly through the night with the little witch Lisbet and experience exciting adventures. An unforgettable experience for all participants and spectators!

The performance on June 19 will take place on several dates:

  • 9:30 a.m. - sold out
  • 11:00 a.m. - Presentation for primary school children (admission: 1 €)
  • 4:30 p.m. - Family presentation (entry: € 3)

The project is part of the funding program "Music Education for everyone", which has been supported by the Association of Music and Art Schools Brandenburg since 2010. This program enables more than 6,000 children from 247 primary and special schools to experience musical education- regardless of their social background.

"The musical education should be there for all children," explains the Musikschule Barnim, which works with six schools in the region. A total of 359 pupils in grades 1 to 6 from offers in 17 classes benefit. The diverse support comes from the Ministry of Science, Research and Culture as well as other institutions.
