New advice location for care in Guben opens on November 6th!

A new chapter in nursing advice will open in Guben on November 6, 2025, when the Spree-Neiße nursing base opens its new advice location in the Naëmi Wilke Diakonie Hospital. This step aims to further expand the comprehensive, local advice network in the care sector. When it opens, the location in Haus Elisabeth, Wilkestrasse 14, will also function as a contact point for those in need of care and their relatives.

The new location's consultation hours are every Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The service is neutral, independent and of course free. Here, interested parties not only receive information about care services, but also about support offers and options for relief in everyday life. This initiative is jointly supported by the Spree-Neiße/Wokrejs Spjewja-Nysa district and the nursing and health insurance companies AOK Nordost and Knappschaft-Bahn-See, which intensively support the collaboration, such as Niederlausitz Current reported.

A strong team for care

The team behind this valuable offer is supported by important experts such as Torsten Winter, head of the social affairs department, and Katja Lehr, team leader of nursing advice at AOK Nordost. This competent team ensures that the needs of those in need of care and their relatives are met in the best possible way.

In addition to the new counseling center in the Diakonie Hospital, counseling will continue to be offered every Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the family home, Goethestrasse 93, Guben. This expands the reach of independent care advice, which is now available at a total of eleven locations in the district. The website of the Naëmi Wilke Foundation also provides further information about these offers.

Arranging appointments

If you would like advice, you can easily make an appointment by calling 03562 6933-22, -23 or -24. The committed employees look forward to offering assistance to anyone interested and are available to provide advice and support.

At a time when the needs of those in need of care are becoming more and more important, it is important that offers are created that make people's lives easier. The opening of the care base in Guben is therefore an important step for local care and support structures - a concern that is highly valued in the community.
