Tariff increase and new contracts: Niederlausitz rescue service on the rise!

The Rescue Service Niederlausitz gGmbH has not only taken responsibility for the ground-based rescue service since January 1, 2024, but has also taken an important step towards improving the working conditions of its employees. Managing director Tom Lehnert emphasized the importance of the new tariff. The aim of these adjustments is to recognize the valuable work of the rescue workers and to attract skilled workers in the long term. “The salary increase is a sign of appreciation,” says Lehnert.

Regulated salaries for all employees

From January 1, 2024, employees will benefit from a regulated basic salary that ranges between 3,119 euros and 3,951 euros, depending on their level of experience. These amounts are to be increased to between 3,490 euros and 4,239 euros from July 1, 2024. These measures are essential to meet the increasing demand for skilled workers in the emergency services, which is estimated to be significant in the coming years, reports Sea Air24.

Lehnert and his team are already in top form preparing to take over the rescue service.
