Big Advent competition: Win by buying cookies in Rheinsberg!
In the tranquil community of Flecken Zechlin, the Janke bakery has launched a truly magical project: an Advent calendar that combines the anticipation of Christmas with great prizes. How maz-online.de reports, the project was brought to life by Marzena von Berswordt-Wallrabe, Christopher Jensch, Sandra Fritsche and Claudia Breest. Together they were able to win over 40 partner companies in the region, which donated a total of 80 prizes, including candlelight dinners, hotel stays and even vouchers for various services and products.
The prices are as varied as they are tempting: from board games to breakfast offers and haircuts to bicycle repairs. This is a great way to end the year on a high note and do good at the same time, as the proceeds from the sale of the special speculoos-flavored shortbread are donated to local institutions such as the Montessori High School in Neuruppin and the Dementia Living Group in Waren.
Participation in the competition
Participating is very easy: for two euros you can purchase a piece of the handmade shortbread that comes with a double ticket. Part of the ticket goes into the lucky drum, the other part remains with the buyer as proof. The drawing of the winners will take place on December 30, 2025 and will be broadcast as a live event on Facebook and Instagram. The first cookies were a complete success - 1000 pieces were sold within just a few days!
The new cookies were developed specifically for the competition and promise to impress buyers with more than just their taste. Claudia Breest lovingly attached the tickets to the cookie packages to increase anticipation of the draw.
