Strong together: MAZ Sterntaler campaign starts for those in need!
Advent not only brings light and joy, but also the opportunity to help others. This year's MAZ Sterntaler campaign started again today, November 25, 2025. The aim of this long-standing initiative is to support facilities in Ostprignitz-Ruppin and Prignitz. Last year, an impressive 55,000 euros were collected, which shows how big the heart of the region is.
Citizens have until December 24th to make a contribution. To date, 420 euros have already been donated. The money collected will go to the food banks in Neuruppin, Kyritz and Wittstock, the homeless housing project in Neuruppin and to the Volkssolidarität family centers in OPR and Prignitz, among others. Particularly noteworthy is the support of the Oase association in Neuruppin, which provides services for people with a migrant background.
Do good together
The funds are allocated by a commission made up of representatives from the social sector, including employees of Outlaw Kinder- und Jugendhilfe GmbH. How Outlaw reports, 2,000 euros were provided for 18 families this year, which is 400 euros more than last year. The aid includes gifts such as train tickets, vouchers for leisure activities and fashion items. This makes Christmas a little bit brighter for many families.

Warmth for those in need
The activities of the heat bus are particularly important in the cold season. Loud Maltese The missions mainly take place in the evening when the temperatures drop. This helps homeless and needy people by offering warm drinks, clothing and, in emergencies, medical help. These campaigns also depend on donations and require the commitment of volunteers.
