E-mobility trade fair in Oranienburg: Hundreds test electric vehicles!

Last Saturday the 13th e-mobility trade fair “e-motion” took place in Oranienburg, organized by the Oberhavel Business Juniors. Hundreds of visitors took advantage of the sunny day to find out about the latest trends and technologies in e-mobility. Around 15 exhibitors presented a variety of vehicles that represent the future of mobility. Particularly eye-catching was the fully electric truck from Renault, which was considered the trade fair highlight among the vehicles.

The trade fair not only offered electric cars, but also numerous companies such as Stadtwerke Oranienburg and wallbox operators who praised their products and services. The opportunity to test drive the electric vehicles on display was met with great interest. Many visitors didn't miss the opportunity to try out the driving experience in an e-truck and see for themselves the advantages of electric drives.

Political activities during the fair

Another highlight took place shortly before 3 p.m. when Christopher Street Day stopped at Schlossplatz, adding a political dimension to the fair. The combination of mobility and social engagement created an exciting atmosphere and stimulated discussions about the importance of e-mobility for a sustainable future.

At the same time, another e-mobility trade fair is being planned in Bergisch Gladbach, which will take place on April 5th and 6th, 2025. The city center will become the stage for the latest solutions in the field of climate-friendly mobility, with exhibitors presenting everything from compact city cars to luxurious limousines. This year the focus is on the range of e-cars, charging options and financing issues related to e-mobility.

The organizers of the trade fair in Bergisch Gladbach, the interest group Bergisch Gladbach – Stadtmitte e. V., not only want to show vehicles, but also provide comprehensive information about the options for installing wall boxes and using solar systems for home use. The goal of these events is clear: to promote climate-friendly mobility and to educate the public about modern mobility solutions.

Both events, in Oranienburg and Bergisch Gladbach, underline the growing importance of e-mobility in Germany. While some are already being successfully implemented, others are still being planned, but it is clear that the demand for information and innovations in this area is high.
