A lot is happening in the world of logistics in Berlin-Schönefeld: P3 Logistic Parks has announced plans for a state-of-the-art logistics park that will cover an area of around 90,000 square meters. As “P3 Berlin Airport Park”, this new location is being designed not only for logistics but also for production uses. The property, which has a total area of 166,000 square meters, was acquired by a joint venture, as iz.de reports.

The location is only 5 km from the new Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) and has excellent connections to the A10 and A13 motorways.
Extensive infrastructure and modern standards
The planned logistics park can be divided into up to eight separate units and offers a modern infrastructure with 79,722 square meters of logistics space, 3,456 square meters of office space and 6,078 square meters of mezzanine space. The structure will have a clear height of twelve meters and a floor load capacity of seven tons per square meter. No effort is spared when it comes to logistics: 80 loading gates and eight ground-level gates are planned for goods handling. In addition, 690 car parking spaces and 80 truck parking spaces are planned for employees and visitors.
Another highlight of the P3 Berlin Airport Park will be the targeted BREEAM “Excellent” certification. The logistics park will offer environmentally friendly features such as LED lighting and charging options for electric vehicles. The architectural concept comes from the renowned architectural firm SCHEMAA scheib mainz architekten GmbH from Essen. P3 also works closely with partners such as Arcadis Germany GmbH, EBB Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH, HPC AG and Hyphen A GmbH to create a modern and future-proof building.
