Fire Department Festival in Zossen: Experience technology and music from August 8th to 10th!
A very special event will take place in Brandenburg from August 8th to 10th, 2025: the “Area 112”, Germany’s first fire brigade festival. A varied program is offered on an impressive 300 hectare area at the Teltow-Fläming-Ring in Zossen, which includes technical highlights, workshops and rock concerts. Advance sales of tickets have already begun, and the prices are fairly priced: a 3-day pass costs €69, while children up to 12 years of age are admitted free of charge. If you want to learn more about firefighting techniques, you can take part in an academy course for €799, including meals. Day visitors are also catered for: day tickets for Friday and Saturday cost €35, and €29 on Sunday. For those who want to really make the most of the festival weekend, there is a weekend package starting at €379, which includes two nights' accommodation and meals.
Unique experiences and programs
The festival has positioned itself as an “off-road edutainment event” that stands out clearly from classic trade fairs. According to information from Fire department magazine An interactive exhibition with the latest technologies will be presented, which not only appeals to the fire service community, but also to their families and young people. Workshops for fire service professionals and a child-friendly program promote young firefighters and ensure that the little ones also have exciting experiences.
An absolute highlight are the evening rock concerts, where bands such as “J.B.O.”, “The Busters”, “Subway to Sally” and “Vogelfrey” will perform. There will also be a food truck festival that will provide culinary pampering moments. Dogs are also welcome, so the whole family can look forward to a harmonious weekend.

Getting to the festival site is extremely convenient. Zossen is just 20 minutes from Berlin Airport and is conveniently located on the A13 and A10 motorways. A shuttle service from Zossen train station to the festival site also ensures a problem-free journey.
The organizer, the makers of the fire brigade magazine, is expecting a high number of visitors. The trade magazine has over 50,000 copies per month and thus brings together a large community. A special highlight for young adults is the Culture Pass, which is available to those born in 2006 so that they can also take part in the festival.
