Spooky fun for the Halloween weekend: The best events in Barnim!

The weekend is just around the corner and for many in Brandenburg this is the perfect opportunity to prepare for Halloween. Events are already in full swing in Bernau, Eberswalde and the surrounding region, as Halloween is celebrated on October 31st - a custom whose roots lie in the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain and which many people now associate with costume parties and sweets. The date marks the eve of All Saints' Day, a day on which the deceased are remembered in many places. Loud Statista Halloween is becoming increasingly popular in Germany, especially among children and in cities.

In Bernau, visitors can look forward to a spooky atmosphere in the Külzpark, where spooky characters await them from October 31st to November 1st. Admission is staggered in a family-friendly manner: 2 euros for children, 3 euros for adults and 7 euros for families. At the same time, there will be a Halloween party by SV Blau Weiss Ladeburg on the 31st from 5 p.m. A varied range of events that heighten the anticipation of the eerie celebrations.

Events in the surrounding area

The festivities extend to Wandlitz, where a family festival will take place in the park at the Seepark Hotel on November 1st. Exciting activities such as archery and a scary disco await the little ghosts here. Things will also be exciting in Eberswalde: on October 30th, visitors can expect a ghost program in the family garden from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. For 4 euros for children and 8 euros for adults you can look forward to eerie surprises.

Of course there are not just events for the little ones. In Liepe and Parstein there will be a Halloween parade and festival on the same evening, starting at 6 p.m. If you want something even scarier, you should come to Althüttendorf on October 31st, where a lantern ride and scary rides are on the program. In Friedrichswalde, too, the Halloween fire is lit at 6 p.m. on the same evening - a real eye-catcher for everyone who wants to get into the festive mood.

Celebrate and enjoy

The range of activities is complemented by numerous music events. On November 2nd, a swing concert will rock at Treff23 in Bernau, while a brass quintet will perform at 5 p.m. in St. Marienkirche. For sports enthusiasts, there will be a Lok Bernau basketball game on November 1st from 7 p.m., tickets for this are available online.

The all-round successful celebrations also extend beyond Bernau: in Panketal, visitors can expect a reading by author Ahne on October 31st. This will take place from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and costs 20 euros. For creative minds, there is an art market in Wandlitz on November 1st and 2nd that costs no entry.
