The Senftenberg fire brigade helped to promote the sailors to the city harbor, where they were handed over to the care of their sailing comrades after a medical examination. The recovery of the capsized boat took around 1.5 hours and ended successfully: the boat was erected and pumped out before it was dragged to the home port in Großkoschen.
