Energie Cottbus gets experienced left -back Leon Guwara from Ingolstadt

Less than three weeks before the start of the new season there is a breath of fresh air in the squad at Energie Cottbus. Leon Guwara's commitment was announced on Tuesday, while Justin Butler signed his new commitment to Lausitz on Monday. Guwara, a 29-year-old left-back, comes from FC Ingolstadt and has numerous experiences that he gained in his 44 first division games in the Netherlands as well as in 63 encounters in the 2nd Bundesliga and 44 games in the 3rd league. Head coach Claus-Dieter Wollitz emphasizes the need for action on the left-back position, due to the numerous departures in the team.

After Guwara completed a three -week trial training session at the third division club, he was now firmly committed.
