No new infections in the Uckermark district: hope for Brandenburg!

In the last few days things have become quiet in the Uckermark when it comes to new infections. On October 25, 2025, in the district News.de no new COVID-19 infections reported compared to the previous day. Last week there was a similar picture with a total of 10 cases registered. The 7-day incidence in the district is 8.5 per 100,000 inhabitants.

The situation today also looks optimistic for the entire state of Brandenburg. The 7-day incidence is 10.1 per 100,000 inhabitants, while a total of 29 new infections were documented, but there were no new deaths. The total number of people who tested positive in Brandenburg is 1,150,058.

Age groups in view

A closer look at the age distribution of infections shows that children and young adults are primarily affected. The highest number of cases are in the age groups 0-04 and 05-14 years, with 29,498 and 152,611 cases. Among adults, the 35-59 age group is most affected with 479,573 cases. This may also be due to the high level of vaccination, which has been able to curb the spread somewhat.
