30 years of youth composed”: Young talents rock the castle theater!

On June 21, 2025, a very special event is on the program: The 30th state competition "Jugend composed" celebrates its anniversary in the Schlosstheater Rheinsberg. After three decades of creative support for young talents, visitors can look forward to a final concert that presents new compositions for saxophone quartet. The competition in detail

The State Music Council Brandenburg has written the active promotion of young composers since 1995. Registrations for the current competition could be submitted from February 1, 2025, the submission is scheduled for September 8, 2025. The composition workshop will then take place from October 20 to 26, 2025 in the Rheinsberg Music Academy, as nnm-Brandenburg.

The final concert will take place in the Schlosstheater Rheinsberg for October 25, 2025 at 5 p.m. This evening, the award winners will be announced, which are given the opportunity to develop their compositions in a workshop and to perform them in professional concerts. The event is spacious generously by the Ministry of Science, Research and Culture of the State of Brandenburg. In order to facilitate participation for as many young people as possible, there are attractive discounts: children and adolescents between the ages of 4 and 17 receive a 50 % discount on the regular card price. And also for young theater fans between the ages of 18 and 27, students and other groups of people are discounted of 25 %.

Admission to the concert in the theater hall is about 30 minutes before the start. Wheelchair places can be reserved directly via the Rheinsberg music culture.
