Pure excitement: Royal shooting in Alzheim crowns new winners!
The royal shooting in Alzheim on Corpus Christi once again attracted many shooters and visitors. The brilliant weather once again made it clear how lively and deeply rooted this tradition is in shooting. The shooting societies determined their kings and princes over several competitions.
In the student category, the talented Sophie Dötsch took first place with an excellent performance of 47 rings. Lilli Pleinen was successful in the student prince competition and was able to obtain the hull of the prince eagle after an exciting competition. The young people weren't idle either: Max Pleinen secured victory with 42 rings and Alina Lorig crowned her performance with the decisive shot at the prince's eagle as youth princess.
The royal round
In the adult category, Markus Pleinen distinguished himself as the best shooter in the shooting class and became target king with 46 rings. The shooting queen Teresa Lauxem let the royal eagle fall to the ground at 9:15 p.m. with the 129th shot, thus crowning her triumph. Ingrid Nothen won the individual competition in the community shooting with a total of 30 rings. The Alzheim bachelor club was also able to celebrate the title of team winner after scoring an impressive 79 rings.
The royal shooting not only has a high status in shooting and is one of the oldest traditions, but also attracts numerous participants from near and far every year. This tradition, which has always been used to choose a shooting king or queen, has now spread throughout Germany. The federal association also organizes the annual federal shooting competition, at which the dignity of the federal shooting king is determined, as the German Shooting Association explains.
Celebrations and atmosphere
The event was accompanied by a convivial atmosphere, which contributed to the joy of all participants and spectators with cool drinks, home-baked cakes and fried steaks. Such celebrations are not just a competition, but also an indispensable part of community life that connects generations. With such an eventual gathering, it is clear that these ancient traditions are highly valued and play an important role in the regional culture.
At this year's royal shooting there was not only shooting, but also celebration. The community showed that the custom of choosing the shooting king remains alive and promotes the spirit of sport and friendship - values that are repeatedly emphasized at Blick aktuell.
The royal shooting in Alzheim is therefore not just a sporting competition, but also a festival for the entire community, which will certainly attract many visitors and participants in the coming years.
