New timetable for the Hohen Neuendorf city library!
The pre-Christmas period is a very special time, which also... Hohen Neuendorf City Library can experience in a festive mood. From December 22nd to 30th, 2025, the city library will have special opening hours for all bookworms and those thirsty for knowledge. On December 29th it opens from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., and on December 30th you can also browse and stock up on new books from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Please note that the Hohen Neuendorf library branches will be closed from December 22nd to January 9th, 2026. This gives all employees the opportunity to prepare for the new year, while the city library itself goes into winter break from December 31st to January 9th.
Fresh incentives and surprises
Immediately after the closure, visitors can look forward to a great promotion. From January 12th to 16th, 2026, surprise bags will be available to borrow, containing appropriate themes such as “Scandinavian Suspense,” “Bella Italia,” “Heartbreak,” and “Laughing Muscle Attack.” These little surprises are intended for children, teenagers and adults and the number of bags is limited - so it's worth being quick!
Another highlight of the city library is theJoint learning meeting, which takes place every Wednesday from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. - except during holidays and public holidays. The first learning meeting in the new year starts on January 7th, 2026. Participation is free and registration is not required. Here you can learn together and exchange ideas - a real benefit for young and old!

The city library is located at Schulstrasse 2, 16562 Hohen Neuendorf. Their regular hours are Thursday and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The library remains closed on public holidays.
