World record in Bachata: Schier-Rösel dance school at the big event!

In the exciting world of dance, November 8th is all about an extraordinary world record attempt. As part of World Dance Day, an impressive campaign is being launched in Wittstock that not only celebrates dancing, but also pursues a good cause. The Schier-Rösel dance school from Wittenberge is throwing its weight into the mix and taking part in this special event. It is an enthusiastic call to all dance lovers, because at various locations, including Wittstock and Stendal, at least 50 dance schools with 25 couples each want to present a set choreography in Bachata in synchronized movements.

In Wittstock, the choreography will come to life at 8:30 p.m. in the Festsaal zur Eiche, Gröperstrasse 33. 33 dance couples come together here, while over 100 dancers take part in Stendal. An unforgettable moment for everyone who has been training for this day for three months. Since the choreography is not exactly easy, short-term participation is not possible.

A dance for a good cause

Each participating dance couple is not only committed to dance, but also supports a worthy cause. Each couple donates 15 euros to help fight childhood dementia. The campaign is supported by the NCL Foundation, which initiates research projects worldwide against this devastating disease. There is great anticipation of the record, but spectators will not be allowed in Wittstock due to space constraints. To ensure transparency, independent people will be present as witnesses and collect photo and video material to document the success of the operation.

Whether the world record will be achieved will only become clear after a comprehensive analysis of the collected material. What is certain is that even if the attempt is successful, no celebrations are planned; all proceeds go to a good cause. A noble gesture that shows that dancing not only brings joy, but can also contribute to the well-being of society.
