Courtyard Night & City Festival: A weekend full of fun in Königs Wusterhausen!
What's going on in Königs Wusterhausen this weekend? It will be colorful and diverse! On Saturday, July 5, 2025, there are numerous events on the program that offer something for everyone. The highlight is the 13th Königs Wusterhausener Höfenacht, which starts at 6 p.m. at the city fountain and this year features new courtyards.
Traders, property owners, clubs and the Königs Wusterhausen city administration are taking part as organizers for the third time. There is a rich selection of music, food and drinks on 22 farms, with the individual farms themselves being responsible for the culinary and musical offerings. An informative flyer was created for visitors, which is available both on the farms themselves and in retailers. New this year are four courtyards: the Harley Station at Storkower Straße 36, Hof Holzbau Schmidt at Karl-Marx-Straße 2, the Hof der Stille at Bahnhofstraße 3 and the Eiscafé am Stübchen at Bahnhofstraße 7a. This promises to offer visitors even greater variety. Information about this is also available on the city's homepage.
More events on your doorstep
But the Höfennacht is not the only event that awaits visitors. In Schulzendorf, the jazz summer starts on the same day with a concert by the Maik Krahl Quartet in the patron church, which begins at 7.30 p.m. Tickets cost 10 euros, tickets for all four concerts are available for 32 euros. If you would rather experience live music in the community, you shouldn't miss the town festival in Wildau, which is celebrated around the fire department from 1 p.m.
The various festivals and film screenings in the region are recommended for families and nature lovers. From 2 p.m. the village festival in Frankenförde invites you to linger, while in the Briesen outdoor pool there will be a tractor meeting and the Neptune Festival from 1 p.m. In Teupitz there is a Movie Night with free entry from 3 p.m. and the opportunity to watch the film “Werner” at the Sperenberg lido at 8 p.m. - entry is free here too.
Culture for the ears and eyes
There is also something to experience for theater lovers: “Romeo and Juliet” will be performed on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. in the Volkshaus Wildau, while the performance “Hymenoptera – the wild bees” is on the program on Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Zeuthen/Miersdorf library, both events free of charge.
