A serious accident occurred this morning, November 4th, 2025, shortly before 8 a.m. on Mahlower Allee in Kleinziethen, Dahme-Spreewald district. Three vehicles were involved in the incident: a MAN dump truck, a BMW and a Honda SUV. The MAN tipper veered out of the lane and collided with the other two vehicles, causing significant damage. The police estimate the material damage at a five-digit euro amount, and all three vehicles were no longer drivable after the accident. This led to massive disruptions in the morning rush hour as the road had to be closed for around three hours.
Fortunately, the driver of the MAN tipper, a 67-year-old man, only suffered minor injuries and was able to receive outpatient treatment on site. Things were different for the 58-year-old driver of the Honda SUV, who suffered serious injuries and had to be taken to hospital for further treatment.
