Summer highlights: festival weekend in Bernau, Wandlitz and Panketal!

The coming weekend has a variety of exciting events to offer in the region around Bernau, Wandlitz and Panketal. On June 21st and 22nd, 2025, visitors can look forward to a colorful mix of music, cuisine and culture, which can be enjoyed in a light summer atmosphere.

First, the highlight of the weekend, the Fête de la Musique, which will be celebrated in Panketal on June 21st from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Here, guests can look forward to regional music acts and dancing at three locations: the town hall, the mouth of the Dranse and Geneva Square. There is a delicious snack menu for your physical well-being. The tradition of the Fête de la Musique dates back to 1982 and has its origins in France. This year the festival expects over 1,000 concerts in Berlin and Brandenburg, with Panketal making up a lively part of it. It will be musically diverse for listeners, who can look forward to genres such as jazz, pop and folk, in the spirit of RBB24 reports that.

But that's not all! The harbor festival will be celebrated in Marienwerder on June 21st from 1 p.m., where, among other things, music, a bouncy castle and the popular face painting await the little visitors. For hungry guests there is a delicious catering offer with soft ice cream, hot dogs and much more. The spinning festival will also take place in Ladeburg from 11 a.m., where the focus will be on traditional craft demonstrations and the art of spinning.

In the evening in Hobrechtsfelde, film lovers have the opportunity to enjoy the film “Hot Summer” in the open-air cinema from 7:30 p.m. High-profile guests such as Chris Dorek, the film's leading actress, will also draw viewers in. If you like socializing, you shouldn't miss the white dinner in Börnicke. The communal meal begins here at 6 p.m., where everyone can bring their own food and seating in white.

Family friendly experiences and music

Another event in Panketal is the picture book cinema, which starts at 3 p.m. and the book “Freddy and Flo aren’t scared of anything!” presented, perfect for little bookworms. At the same time, a strolling mile will take place from 2 p.m. where regional companies and clubs will set up their stands. On June 22nd there will be an annual festival in Lobetal, which begins at 10 a.m. with a celebratory service and includes a family program and a concert at 2 p.m.

Last but not least, music lovers can expect a concert on June 22nd at 5 p.m. in the Wandlitz village church, where the pop and jazz choir will present a new program under the direction of Paul Galonska.
