Kosmopolit JP Bouzac invites you to the colorful exhibition Heimaten in Panketal
In the Panketal gallery, the current exhibition entitled "Heimaten" waves and invites visitors to think about the term home. The artist JP Bouzac, who saw the light of day in Cognac, France in 1960, created his works from the aspect of the world. As reports barnim-aktuell.de, Bouzac reflects on various concepts of home, which he expresses with his colorful images.
Boucaz, who has lived in Germany since 1986 and since 1993, has learned various techniques such as drawing, collage, photography and painting. His work addresses topics that range from the beautiful healed world to human comedy to climate protection and biodiversity. The importance of some pictures is not immediately obvious - an invitation to think intensive. The creative Brandenburg also emphasizes that Bouzac France, especially the Charente region, sees his first homeland while Germany serves as a second home.
vernissage full of surprises
The vernissage for the exhibition took place on July 8, 2025 in an unconventional manner. Mayor Maximilian Wonke opened the event, while musical and picturesque improvisations provided a special atmosphere. Piano sounds from Maike Hauschild and her humorous representation of the Bouzac's way of life rounded off the evening and created a lively introduction to the exhibition.
For Bouzac, the concept of home has many facets. He describes himself as a "world citizen" and draws inspiration from his extensive travel experience. He got to know many cultures and landscapes and quotes the philosopher Kant with the words: "Got courage to use your own mind!". This way of thinking drives him to question whether a world of ideas cannot be a form of homeland and makes it think about the possibility of further "home".
