Peace flees in Bernau: Art for Peace to see from today!

in the Bernau Gallery, Bürgeristerstraße 4, opened an exhibition today that deals with a highly up -to -date topic: peace and disarmament. The best work on the nationwide poster competition, organized by the Bernau-Panitary Peace Alliance, can be seen until July 25, 2025. A total of 24 artists submitted 56 urgent works that can be visited by July 25, 2025. So if you want to immerse yourself in the world of thought about peace, you still have time and the best thing about it: admission is free!

The exhibition of the best posters is a direct answer to the ongoing challenges of peace. The winners of the main prizes are Henry Schwedler with his work "Fathers, Sons, Helden", Meinhard Bärmich, whose poster "Children: We want peace!" The hearts touched, and Elke Mann, who urgently "rocket stop!" promotes disarmament. These works of art are supposed to encourage people to think about peace and become active. With this competition, the Bernau-Panaldal Peace Alliance has created a platform on which art and social commitment go hand in hand.

vernissage and sense of community

The atmosphere at the vernissage on April 26, which was visited by around 70 guests, is particularly worth mentioning. In a relaxed atmosphere, in the case of campfire and lard stulls, the present could not only marvel at the works, but also paused in musical performances by Wilfried Staufenbiel and Christine Kessler and talk about the importance of peace. Thomas Marquard, an actively committed representative of the Peace Alliance, stated: "All senders are winners!" This shows how important the exchange and the common work are.

After the exhibition in Bernau, there will be a hiking exhibition that is to be shown in other galleries. In this way, even more people get the opportunity to deal with the important topics of peace and disarmament and to actively participate in the dialogues that take place in Brandenburg and beyond.

a big framework for peace

It is gratifying that such initiatives such as this poster competition can initiate a broader movement within society. The Bernau-Panketal Peace Alliance and other Brandenburg Peace allies are committed to strengthening peace. The eco -conceive peace decade 2025, which takes place in November, is an example of how the dialogue for peace is encouraged on a broad level. Numerous events and promotions in the entire roof room are planned under the motto "Come on peace". This includes peace demonstrations, commemorative events and several other actions that numerous people are supposed to mobilize in order to stand up for peace, justice and non -violence.

The networking between the peace alliance and the citizens is essential to set a strong sign for peace. In Brandenburg, many hearts beat for a more peaceful future and invite everyone to actively get involved and participate.

The exhibition is open to all interested parties by July 25, 2025 daily from Wednesday to Friday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A visit is worthwhile to experience the urgent visual appeals for peace and disarmament and maybe be inspired yourself to stand up for a better world.

Visit the exhibition and let yourself be inspired by the creative approaches to peace. Further information on Bernau Live or Friedensdekade 2025 offers exciting insights for planned actions and events.
