Finowfurter Flößerfest 2025: A weekend full of fun and flair!
What a spectacle in Finowfurt! From July 4th to 6th, 2025, the municipality of Schorfheide celebrates the 28th Finowfurt raftsmanfest. It is a rooted festival in the region that has been celebrated since 1996 and attracts thousands of visitors every year. The event is ideal for celebrating the tradition of rafting and the diverse culture of the region.
The festival will be opened on Friday evening with a solemn speech by the mayor and the rafting club. This is followed by a rousing dance event that invites you to celebrate. On Saturday and Sunday, the stage on Erzbergerplatz becomes the center of the event. Music from various genres - from hit to rock to pop and line dance - will inspire the numerous guests. In addition to local actors such as the "Spatzennest" daycare center and the United Dance Family, the antenna party tour on Saturday evening will also create a great atmosphere. Moderator Tina Knop by Antenne Brandenburg leads through the varied stage program.
There are special children's programs for young visitors that offer the little exciting experiences. And of course the festival will end with a spectacular highlight: on Sunday evening, all guests can expect a great laser show, followed by an impressive fireworks above the finow channel.
public transport and ticket information
In order to cope with the rush of visitors and relax the parking situation, all external guests are advised to travel by public transport. The Barnimer bus company uses additional buses between Eberswalde and Finowfurt. These run on Friday until 1:50 a.m., on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 1:50 a.m. (to Sunday) and on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
For the return trip after the evening events on Sunday, the bus is planned at 11:30 p.m. from "Finowfurt, intersection". Important note: from 4th July, 9 a.m., until the end of the festival, the stops "Finowfurt, Youth Home", "Finowfurt, Post" and "Finowfurt, intersection" will not be served. A replacement stop is set up in front of the medical center.
If you don't want to miss the great dance and disco evenings on Friday and Saturday evening, you should secure tickets in good time. These cost ten euros each and are available in advance in the municipal administration at Erzbergerplatz. The pre -sale runs until July 1, 2025, and there is also the opportunity to purchase tickets at the box office.
