Spremberger students in action: Sticker flood is combated!

In Spremberg, 19 class 8a students actively act against the increasing flood of stickers and smearings. Under the watchful eye of three employees of the building yard, they bundled their strength on Wednesday, June 12, 2025 to free the city of illegal stickers and tags. This campaign is not only an important contribution to the beautification of the cityscape, but also a strong signal against racist slogans and other undesirable content that is on the stickers.

Mayor Christine Hernier expressly praised the initiative of the young people and thanks for their tireless efforts. "It is great to see how the students take responsibility and actively stand up for a lively and clean city," said the mayor. FC Energie Cottbus, whose own club stickers were removed by the students, also appreciates the campaign and invited the young people to a stadium tour and an interactive escape rally.
