FC Energie Cottbus celebrates new dream cabin with sauna and team spirit!

There is reason to be happy for the players of FC Energie Cottbus: Last Wednesday they moved into a new, ultra-modern cabin, which is characterized not only by its equipment but also by its ambience. Equipped with a new sauna and wellness area as well as first-class changing facilities, this cabin was converted in record time during the summer break. This was made possible thanks to the generous support of the Sparkasse Spree-Neisse, which took over the financing and thus made a significant contribution to this project.

The cabin was designed as a surprise for the team under captain Axel Borgmann and was officially moved into on Wednesday. President Sebastian Lemke praised the newly created spaces as essential for the team identity and sense of community, which are of great importance for both the sporting success and the personal development of every player. “It’s not just moving here, it’s creating a place that brings us together as a team,” says Lemke. Head coach Claus-Dieter Wollitz was also proud of the result and thanked the construction companies involved, who carried out the work with commitment and speed.

Local companies are pitching in

The cabin conversion was a collaborative effort from local companies who provided their expertise and services. The supporting companies include names such as Wand & Boden Tino Schwier, Tiles Nowka, Elektro Natusch, Kühl- und Klimatechnik Kruse, Kopf Heating and Air Conditioning Technology and Tischlerei Behrendt. Their quick and competent deployment made it possible to complete the new premises on time for the start of the season and now offers the players an excellent place to retreat.

Team spirit is seen as an important component for success within the sport. Studies show that teams with strong cohesion are often more successful. Players are now able to combine their individual skills and work in a harmonious working environment, minimizing both stress and pressure. Performancesport.eu describes team spirit as a collective energy that arises when we pull together. The new premises offer the ideal setting to further strengthen this team spirit.

But just a modern cabin is not enough - developing a strong team spirit requires continuous effort and regular team building activities. The clever integration of such activities into everyday sports life will make a decisive difference. FC Energie Cottbus will undoubtedly take another step towards a successful season with the new cabin.
