Tierpark Finsterwalde celebrates 55 years with a colorful festival weekend!

The big festival weekend is just around the corner: The Finsterwalde zoo celebrates its 55th anniversary on the first weekend in August. All zoo fans and families are cordially invited to commit this special event. The celebrations start on Saturday, August 2, with the Nacht Nacht from 6 p.m., where the night comes alive and numerous exciting activities are on the program. So you can take part in thematic tours and get exciting insights into the animal world of the region in cooperation with NABU at night. The swing band "Porta Fastis" brings musical entertainment into play, which will create a good atmosphere. Niederlausitz current offers some things.

On Sunday, August 3., the traditional zoo festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Here, visitors can look forward to an extensive offer: from animal feeding to handicrafts to hands -on offers for children. The Kremser trips and the demonstrations of the youth fire brigade are a highlight of the day. A very special program item will be the inauguration of a new beetle educational trail. The complete festival is rounded off with musical performances by the "Singkreis Lausitz" and the Finsterwald women's choir.
