On July 10, 2025, the Brandenburg Innovation Prize was awarded in Cottbus and five outstanding companies were honored that are paving the way for the future of the region with their creative ideas and projects. The winners of the Innovation Prize are:

- Projektgemeinschaft „reffiSchaf“: Bestehend aus der Frankenförder Forschungsgesellschaft (Luckenwalde), der Biomanufaktur Havelland (Velten) und dem Gut Hirschaue (Rietz-Neuendorf), dieser innovative Verbund arbeitet an der Entwicklung neuer Verwertungsketten für Lamm- und Schaffleisch.
- MB Fensterbau und MB Brandschutztischlerei aus Beelitz: Ihr Beitrag, eine Brandschutztür aus Holz, überzeugt durch eine beeindruckende 90-minütige Feuerbeständigkeit und umweltfreundliche Materialien, die besonders für denkmalgeschützte Gebäude geeignete sind.
- Sectorlens aus Potsdam: Erhielt einen Sonderpreis für die KI-gestützte Plattform „Find your Software“, die kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen hilft, die passende Software auszuwählen.
- CanChip aus Potsdam: Auch dieses Unternehmen bekam einen Sonderpreis für die Entwicklung von Computerchips, die realistische menschliche Zellmodelle darstellen, um personalisierte Therapien weiterzuentwickeln.
