Direct hit in the Prenzlauer Seebad: Huge festival for children thrilled!

On Saturday, the eagerly awaited children's festival took place in the beautiful Prenzlauer seaside resort, attracting families and children from the entire region. Under the motto “You and your club”, numerous committed clubs turned this day into an unforgettable experience. Visitor numbers of around 1,400 speak for themselves: it was a complete success! The company from Cornelia Schoof, who introduced her granddaughter Lara to the colorful activities that the city's daycare centers and after-school care centers had organized, was particularly enchanting.

The variety of offers left little to be desired. The participating clubs, including the Rabbit Association D 92, the town twinning association and many others, organized hands-on activities that invited people to marvel and try things out. The kids could not only pet rabbits or make beeswax candles, but also get involved in sports with Zumba Kids and competitions between the children and their parent teams.

A variety of activities for the little guests

A highlight was the large make-up stand, which knew no bounds to the imagination and transformed many little faces into colorful works of art. Krawuttke's musical program with his participatory concert began at 11:30 a.m. and created a cheerful atmosphere, while popcorn and a variety of food and drinks were also available. Bouncy castles, a quiz and football darts provided additional entertainment – a real highlight for the young visitors!

The clubs not only presented themselves with stands, but also managed to attract new members through their activities. The festival was supported by local sponsors such as Wohnbau, Sparkasse Uckermark and Stadtwerke.

Competitions and team spirit

The various competitions between the daycare centers and after-school care centers were another exciting aspect of the festival. The results of the relay races were celebrated with much applause and cheers:

The event was ceremoniously opened by Vice Mayor Marek Wöller-Beetz, who also took part in the adult relay. He was enthusiastic about the clubs' committed initiatives and the large number of visitors. In times when the connection between community and association is important, the children's festival was a successful example of team spirit and cohesion.

Overall, the children's festival has once again proven that the regional community is strong and offers a variety of activities for both young and old visitors. The seaside resort in Prenzlau will certainly be the scene of such happy events again next summer.
