Mühlenstraße, Templin, Deutschland - On June 23, 2025, Mühlenstraße in Templin became a exciting race for an hour for an hour when an exciting soap box race took place as part of the city wall festival. Michel Preschel, a representative of the association, proudly presented a new vehicle that is equipped with solar elements, developed in cooperation with the Prenzlau Stadtwerke.

The idea for the soap box race was launched by the youth fire brigade and received active support from sponsors who contributed to the implementation of the event. Among the participants was Jolina from the Templiner Leisure facility "The Island", who inspired the spectators with their original "Inselwritzer", one of children in the wood workshop with great attention to detail. It was particularly exciting for the ten -year -old Anni who made her debut in the soap box of the Templin tourism association.

The jury had the demanding task of evaluating the various companions for creativity, route performance and the meters traveled. Despite the summer heat, the colorful soap boxes attracted spectators who cheered the participants loudly. The event not only promoted the feeling of community, but also offered a lot of fun for young and old. The soap box race is part of a tradition that has been strengthened and developed over the years. So there will also be a new edition in 2025, as the Schönecker Seifenkisten race announced.

As with the previous races, a new qualifying mode and a focus on creative ideas have also been announced for the upcoming event. In addition, it is expected that the range of food and drinks will become even more attractive through improved financial conditions.
