Next Friday, September 19th, Prenzlau will be transformed into a place for fun and action. From 2 p.m. on Friedrichstraße and Marktberg there will be a varied program for young and old. The event is suitable for all ages and promises to be a diverse experience.
Numerous social and sporting clubs have come together on Friedrichstrasse to present their platforms. The Healthy Children Network, Strong Family Ties, the ASB, the SV Topfit e.V., the Prenzlau Judo Sports Club and the Swan Queen Team are waiting for the visitors. Culinary highlights from Scheffels DOM, Semper Roma and “Knolle & Bolle” complement the offer and invite you to feast. There is also a lot for the children to discover with the Werner showman, Marco the clown and a football dart game from the residential building.
Action and creativity on Marktberg
The Marktberg will be transformed into a YoungCity Mile, where action and creative offers await visitors. Here, young people can get active with bubble soccer and the battle arena or practice their artistic skills in the graffiti workshop. In addition, interesting career stands from the police, housing and VR Bank will be set up, which deal with topics such as prevention and health promotion.
A highlight of the event is the musical program: from 4 p.m. Fabrice, known from “The Voice of Germany,” will rock the stage. From 5 p.m. a DJ will provide additional musical entertainment. The event will be moderated by Christoph Berkholz, the city's children and youth representative.
