Registration for the 5th UckerMarsch starts: Secure your place!
The 5th UckerMarsch is fast approaching, and the anticipation can be felt among many adventurers. The registration portal for the event will open on December 1st at 6 p.m., which will once again attract numerous hiking enthusiasts this year. But be careful: there are only 1,500 starting places available in total, and last year these were allocated within just 23 hours. So if you want to take part, you should be quick! Northern Courier reports that the big hiking event will take place this time on April 25, 2026 and starts at a particularly beautiful place, the Prenzlauer campsite at Sonnenkap.
For anyone up for the challenge, there are three different routes to choose from: the “Mini” with 14 kilometers, the “Little” with 32 kilometers and the full UckerMarsch over 57 kilometers. You should expect a walking time of 10 to 13 hours. What makes the event special is its communal nature, without any competition. The participation fee benefits non-profit organizations and the NCL Foundation, which can choose from 20 applications. On April 25th, registrants finally have the opportunity to vote for which organization they would like to donate to.

At the stations, hikers can fill their water bottles with various drinks and fortify themselves with fresh fruit, vegetables and snacks. A tip: reusable bottles or reusable cups are welcome!
