Putlitzer Price 2025: Young talents conquer the stage of literature!

Putlitz, Brandenburg, Deutschland - The literary world in Brandenburg once again celebrates the Putlitz price for short stories, which has written a remarkable success story. This competition has been awarded in the quiet community of Putlitz since 2005. This year the topic of "target breaking point" was the focus of the competition. A pre-jury of experienced authors of the 42 authors rated the submitted work. The tension culminated when the six best texts by students from the Johann-Wolfgang-von-Goethe Gymnasium Pritzwalk were performed. The jury rewarded Özge Inan with first place, followed by Christoph Hein on second and Thorsten Dörp in third place. It is particularly noteworthy that Christoph Hein was the only one of the award winners to be present at the award ceremony. The trophy for the winners is ceramic goose.
