Big city festival in Oranienburg: dragon boats, music and party mood!

Oranienburg, Deutschland - Oranienburg celebrated properly on the last weekend in Juni! The city festival, which took place this year from June 20th to 22nd, was a complete success and attracted numerous visitors. The opening of the festival took place with an exciting dragon boat race on Friday, which was held on the Havel and had teams of 14 to 16 paddlers paddled around the bet. Over 2500 spectators were on the Schlossplatz when DJ legend Dr. Moth, known from the techno scene, provided the best mood at 10 p.m. Under the motto "Give Peace A Dance" he celebrated his 40-year career.

The fairground opposite the castle was a real magnet for young and old. Here the rides, including a bungee trampoline and the popular chain pilots, were waiting for visitors. In addition to the attractions, there was also an extensive children's program that caused distraction while the adults could enjoy live music. Events also took place at the city library as well as in the parking lot and the parking space opposite the castle. Friday to Sunday from 2 p.m. to midnight and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

a festival for the whole family

On Saturday the cult band "Keimzeit", which became famous with its hit "Kling Klang", was the focus. She also celebrated the 30th anniversary of her album "Primeln & Elefanten" and filled the castle center with around 2000 fans. The program of the Saturday was varied, with performances by various bands and artists. The highlight of the evening was a spectacular laser show at 11:45 p.m.. oranienburg-erleben.de is enthusiastic about the variety of contributions and performances.

But Sunday also had some surprises. With an ecumenical service at 10 a.m., the last day of the festival started calmly before the musical program reached the climax. Wind music and dance performances were offered by various groups, which ensured that the last visitors could also enjoy the city festival. The hype remained until 7 p.m. so that everyone had the opportunity to immerse yourself in the colorful festival.

At the end of the three days, Marco Bartsch, manager of tourism and culture Oranienburg gGmbH, found that the goal of a cross -generational, family and peaceful coexistence was achieved. Such a festival not only contributes to strengthening the community, but also ensures that Oranienburg is still very popular as a living city.
