Brandenburg's Literature Night: Stricker presents new Sörensen crime novel!

The Long Evening of Brandenburg Literature took place on Saturday in the Villa Quandt in Potsdam. The event attracted around 50 guests with an interest in literature who eagerly listened to the readings by various authors. Among the participants were well-known names such as David Finck, Ulla Lenze, Karen Duve, Sven Stricker and Reinhard Stöckel. The Tagesspiegel reports that David Finck read from his latest novel “The Vertigo”, in which the main character is called Rasmus and was named after an idea from his wife, the best-selling author Juli Zeh.

Ulla Lenze, on the other hand, kidnapped the audience with excerpts from her work “Well-Being,” which deals with the encounter between two unequal women in the historic Beelitz sanatoriums in 1907. Another highlight of the evening was the presentation of the upcoming sixth part of the crime series about Inspector Sörensen by Sven Stricker. The title “Sörensen is on the house” is scheduled to appear on February 15, 2026. Stricker explained that the comedy in his texts comes from the characters and was pleased about the high level of interest that was observed at the book table at the Wist literature store.
