The automotive industry is facing an exciting turn, and the latest developments in the training of automotive clerks are the topic of the hour. On June 3, 2025, the seventh nationwide conference for teachers took place in this area in Berlin, and over 100 specialists from all over Germany were included. In addition to a lively exchange about modern training trends, the approximately 43 vocational schools of the 122 in Germany also showed that something is going on here.

The event, which was organized for the first time in cooperation between the high school centers in Berlin and Brandenburg, took place in the Porsche Center in Berlin-Potsdam. A highlight was the exclusive factory tour at BMW Motorrad in Berlin-Spandau, which was offered the evening before and met with great interest. A goal of the conference was to form the training in the automotive trade in business, network and future -oriented. Experts from Dekra, Mobile.de and the Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) had exciting lectures in their luggage. Linda Joswig from OSZ Dahme-Spreewald convinced in her lecture on sales talks using video analyzes. The teachers were impressed by how to optimize the sales talk through modern methods.

Sascha Rieger, industry consultant and co-organizer, spoke about the importance of CRM strategies in the automotive trade. "Customer management is the be -all and end -all in order to be able to survive in today's market," he emphasized, referring to the essential skills that need to be taught in training. In fact, it is important that future automotive clerks not only bring sales talent, but also acquire well -founded knowledge of customer advice and financing matters.

Axel Schmook, head of the European School OSZ Oder-Spree, emphasized how significant events for the joint educational mandate are. The support from the Ministry of Education of the State of Brandenburg and the Berlin Senate also showed itself in the collaboration, which initially gave the event in Hamburg this year. "This is a successful cooperation with perspective," says Schmook.

With a view to the future, the next conference will already be planned, and the participants can look forward to continuing to participate in this dynamic and modern training that the automotive industry needs. In a time of change, it is up to the teachers to think new ways and to prepare their students as best as possible for the challenges in the automotive trade.
