The importance of financing in the education sector is also reflected in general spending on schools. In 2024, a total of 93.7 billion euros are earmarked for general and vocational schools, which reveals a clear trend towards more investment in school infrastructure. This not only affects the structural measures, but also the digital equipment of the schools, as in Eurydice portal is held. The DigitalPakt School is expected to provide a total of 5 billion euros by 2024.
