Police search for cosmetics thief at BER airport with pictures!
An intensive search is currently underway at Berlin-Brandenburg Airport (BER) for an unknown man who stole numerous cosmetic items from a shop at the international airport. The theft occurred in August 2025 and has a total value of almost 700 euros. Despite internal investigations, the suspect has not yet been identified. This reports Meeting point Dahme-Spreewald.
To make it easier for the police to identify the man, pictures of the suspected perpetrator were published. The criminal police are therefore asking the public for help. Witnesses or anyone who can provide information about the man's identity or whereabouts are asked to call the airport police station on 030 63 48 00. If you would prefer to submit information online, you can do so via the Brandenburg Police Internet Guard. It is emphasized that even small observations can be important, so any kind of information is welcome.
History of thefts
In connection with the investigation, it is interesting to mention that on April 9, 2025, a large-scale theft was recorded at the same airport, in which goods worth over 3,000 euros were stolen. In this case, two women are suspects who were also captured by surveillance cameras. However, the police have not yet been able to clarify the identities of the women. This information comes from t-online.de.
The police are clearly looking to increase security awareness and have repeatedly pointed out that reporting suspicions can be crucial. “Every observation can provide clarifying information,” said the police.
“There is something going on” – this applies not only to the investigation, but also to the opportunity to actively help. Information about the thefts at BER will be kept confidential at the informant's request, providing an additional level of security for those who want to get involved. So if you notice something or if you recognize the suspect, don't hesitate to reach out!
