The number of right -wing extremist acts of violence reached 1,281 and shows a worrying tendency to use violence. A 60-year-old man from South Thuringia is also the focus of the investigation. He is accused of supporting the "Empire Group" and even organizing a meeting of the group. He was responsible for the management of the Telegram channels and recruited new members. Tragically, the case shows that the activities of this movement also influence the security situation in neighboring Thuringia and further exceed the limits of right -wing extremism. Developments around the “Empire Group” throw a bright light on the challenges that our society faces. MDR summarizes that new members are repeatedly recruited and extremist plans are made.
