Medieval spectacle in Beeskow: Ritter, juggler and culinary delights!

An exciting weekend stands in front of the door for all medieval fans and families! On July 7, 2025, Beeskow Castle became the setting for a lively medieval spectacle. The event gives visitors in the past and offers an exciting insight into medieval life.

A large medieval market is waiting at the old water castle that makes the hearts of the guests beat faster. Everywhere, craftsman and dealerships are set up, in which, among other things, a pearl stick, a blacksmith as well as oil and porcelain painters present their artisans and possibly do one or the other good business. A highlight is also the entertainment by jugglers, knights and musicians: inside who ensure a colorful hustle and bustle.

The event offers an extensive program that has something ready for every age group. The highlights include exciting knight fights and spectacular fire spells that captivate the audience. There is a historical carousel for the smaller visitors where you can do a round. From a culinary point of view, everyone gets their money's worth: Numerous medieval delicacies await to be tried in the baking rooms, food stuffs and taverns.

In the immediate vicinity, another possible highlight takes place on the Easter days. At the Easter Spectaculum in Storkow, which goes over Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, around 10,000 visitors can be expected who can enjoy over 50 stands with medieval products. This is also where onlookers get their money's worth: the fencing group "Fictum" and the bridle fight group "Mandshur Tengri" show exciting demonstrations, while Falkner Gregor Orlik presents his stone eagle Jaro.

The ticket prices for the Easter spectaculum are also fair: adults pay 13 euros (online 12 euros), while reduced tickets are available for 6 to 10 euros. The event has been held at Storkow Castle since 2016, previously it took place in Beeskow. Around 120 people work on this event that appeals to families and medieval enthusiasts alike.
