Berlin's footballer and coach: Vote until July 2!

Hohen Neuendorf, Deutschland - It is round in Berlin football again! The Berlin Football Association opened the "Berlin footballer: Inside the 2024/2025" season on June 10, which runs until 2 p.m. at 12 p.m. Voting takes place online via the association's website, and support is carried out by Lotto Berlin. This joint campaign is primarily about amateur football, and the nominated ones are now determined. Here the entire range of talents is recognized, from amateur footballers of the year to the best amateur trainer.

The nominated clubs are no unknown names: FC Hertha 03, BFC Preussen, Berlin Türkspor, BW Hohen Neuendorf, Borussia Pankow, SD Croatia, FC Viktoria Berlin, BFC Meteor and SSC Südwest have entered the race for the titles. If you think that a choice is about fame and honor, you are wrong: Among the participants, attractive prices, such as five season tickets for 1. FC Union Berlin and three for Hertha BSC, as well as material prices from Nike.

The professional jacers in the spotlight

Of course, the professionals should not be missing! The footballers of Union Berlin and Hertha BSC are strongly represented in the election to Berlin's footballer of the year. In addition to the last year's winner, Fabian Reese from Hertha BSC, the following players are available:

  • Danilho Doekhi (1. FC Union)
  • Benedict Hollerbach (1. FC Union)
  • Frederik Rönnow (1. FC Union)
  • Michael Cuisance (Hertha BSC)
  • Toni Leistner (Hertha BSC)
  • brahim Maza (Hertha BSC)

Hollerbach and Maza will no longer play for their old clubs in the coming season - one changes to FSV Mainz 05, the other to Bayer Leverkusen. The pressure on the players is great, especially for Reese, who emerged in the second half of the season as a savior from Hertha BSC and wants to do everything possible with a view to the choice to defend his title. For the women's category, in addition to last year's winner, Elfie Wellhausen from Hertha BSC, also Nina Ehegötz (FC Viktoria Berlin) and Dina Orschmann (1. FC Union)

How the vote ends remains to be seen. However, the enthusiasm and commitment of the fans clearly show that amateur football in Berlin is very popular. Here the fans are asked to give up their voices and the best footballers: to choose inside the season! And remember: the first voices have already been given, the countdown is running!
